The story

It all began with Stefan Hinteregger and Teresa Unterthiner wanting to create a remarkably rooted destination in the region. Stefan’s hotelier father discovered the historical building 22 years ago and envisioned the location’s potential. Teresa and Stefan took the vision and transformed their shared passion into a reality with local architects and artisans to bring the 100-year-old structure back to life, adding three towers of suites and the vast glass-and-stone spa, all overlooking the Dolomite peaks.

Your stay

With cinematic views of the breathtaking Dolomites, the tower suites have floor-to-ceiling sliding windows, light wood, and spacious balconies, merging guests into nature. With unobstructed views of the mystical mountains, The Penthouse at FORESTIS is surrounded by dense treetops overlooking wooded mountain landscape or the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site.

How to spend your time

After spending the morning at the Spa, regenerating with an elemental program involving tree therapy, a wood oil massage and a forest salt bath, guests can explore the great outdoors with activities such as ski-in, ski-out, snowshoeing, hiking, and biking. Energy exercises of Wyda Yoga, a practice from the Celtic druids, are among the activities in nature, bringing the body and mind into harmony.
